Dori...Really liked your article. It is with great interest that I have followed the thread on your article as well as in the "Ask the Expert" section. A CWS best hope is their parents, and a parents best hope is finding the best possible professional to help them in achieving the goals the parent of a CWS has for their child. Your son is indeed blessed to have you as a parent. You sound fearless in your pursuit of helping your son. If I could be of any assistance to you in finding a professional to work with you, your son, and your family, please feel free to contact me at docmike@lakefield.net.....I also have a website at www.thefreedomtospeak.com that will tell you a bit about myself. Anyway, hang in there...Remember...You are your son's best hope, and finding a slp to assist you in reaching your goals for your son is like a journey. But You must make the journey.... I believe parents must become the best THERAPIST their CWS has. Thanks for sharing with all the other parents and professionals that have profited from your article! Glad you are part of the ISAD conference. Judy Kuster did us all a favor by getting you involved. I know my mother and father would have profited by the sharing you have done in your article. Thanks!
