Thanks for the feedback. I haven't tried doing therapy with him on my own, only under the guidance of a speech therapist when he was actively in therapy. Right now I focus on helping him to accept his stutter and to keep him from not speaking up when he has something to say because of his stutter. I guess that's its own kind of therapy. What types of desensitization methods are you thinking about -- role playing? It's really not something I've thought about, so I'd be curious as to what you mean by that. Thanks... Dori
