Thank-you, Marty, for the words of encouragement for PWS! I like your direct, honest style. What advice would you give a Clinician dealing with a high school student who is uncomfortable about openly discussing her feelings of shame? The problem is not during therapy sessions, as the student feels safe enough to discuss her feelings with me, but whenever I gently encourage her to get involved with local self-help organizations, she will "shut down" and is unwilling to give it a try. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
