Hi Lisette, My parentsa died still believing they were somehow responsible for my stuttering. But at leaat, at the end of their lives, I was able to talk to them openly about my stuttering and try and explain the causes (and the effects). I couldn't convince them, but sometimes we can't and just have to let that go. At least I got what I needed to say out, in a warm and supportive way. I beieve they were glad that we had the conversation, however imperfect it was. Best, Marty
