I'd like to start out by thanking Mr. Jumbam for contributing this story to the conference. As a student of communication disorders, I find it both refreshing and intriguing to hear about communication disorder experiences from countries other than the US. It helps to shed some light on the lengths to which people around the world are dealing with disorders. I do have a specific question in regard to your article. In the article, you stated that during your first "therapy" meeting with Blaise you drew upon knowledge of communication from college courses and a prior interview. It is obvious from the outcome of Blaise receiving the Holy Communion that you had a positive impact on his communicative ability. However, was there a time where you felt inexperienced in dealing with this type of a situation? If so, what did you do to remedy the feeling? Thanks again!
