I am not so sure that Alan Turing stuttered. There was a great movie on him called "Breaking the code" based on a book on him by Andrew Hodges and played beautifully by Derek Jacobi. Although the movie portrayed Alan Turing as a stutterer, when I followed up with Andrew Hodges to find out if Turing really stuttered, Hodges said that he did not believe Turing stuttered and that the stutter was added in the movie for effect. I was wondering what the source was for the claim that Turing stuttered. The two links posted in the article don't talk about Turing's stutter.
