Hello, Aya Maiorino from Japan. Sorry for the delay in replying your post. Thank you for sharing your ideas with us. You think that stutterers in Japan have been facing a similar situation with the Chinese ones. You also think that self-treatment is very important. I think that the Orient Society’s character might have more or less negative impact on its stutterers' emotions and attitudes. So we turn our eyes to American success theory for help. We found that it’s a great help when we master their techniques. I don’t think that common people in the West understand more than the Asians although there may be some scientific research on that. They are just showing more tolerance. In other words, the Asian stutterers are more fragile or sensitive to other people’s views. We hope that Japanese Stuttering Project will come out with great achievements and we hope to cooperate with them if possible.
