Jesse, I thoroughly enjoyed your story and your poems. It was great hearing you read your first poem... thanks for taking the time to include the file. As a kid who moved every year, I did have to stand in front of a class time and time again and introduce the class to "my stutter". I loved the 6th "stanza" of your last poem. I grew up knowing I was so much more than my stuttering, yet I felt no one else saw it. How wonderful it would have been to be able to change my name to "silence".
