Thank you for an informative article. I am currently a graduate student and found your suggestions to be quite helpful. I had the opportunity to work with two children who stuttered during my clinical practicums and wish now that I had this type of information while treating them. (I hadn't yet taken the stuttering course, so my knowledge was limited). For future experiences, when I am presented with a client who stutters, I will be use a more comprehensive approach and include speech and language functions in the diagnostic process.
