Kay, Firstly a 3a Whoops! (Ignore my earlier post -Importance - I know what I did wrong though!) Seriously I enjoyed your paper. In my view the best thing SLP's and self-help groups can do for children who stutter is to increase the stuttering knowledge and therapy skills of teachers. Remedial programmes exist in schools for numeracy and literacy - why not oracy! From what I understand your programme is consistent with teaching methodology and would be ideal for this purpose. The ISA has developed a CDRom for distribution in schools (see Support Projects Panel - also in this conference). Would it be possible to include your paper on our next version? Best wishes, Mark
