No, the kind of 'Big Deal' I meant was that you should try not to let him see you get upset by his speech problems. My own mother got into quite a state about mine - and that just made me feel awful! It added to the feeling that it was somehow my fault. I don't think taking him to a therapist is a bad idea, or having him mix with other kids who stutter. Both of those things may well help. (John)
