Hicks?? Hicks....Hicks... Russ Hicks.... Oh, Yeah!! I remember him. That's the guy who knows NO fear! I do appreciate the compliments and I would LOVE an opportunity to share a paper together. You're so right -- fear- that's what an interviewer looks for. Human nature loves to swat at the weak as it's perceived to be. Interviewer notoriously will look for any reason NOT to hire a candidate and self-imposed fear is often the easiest excuse to find and the quickest.
