As I read your article, it was almost as if I had this great realization. I loved the point you made involving a person with a metal hook for a hand. Chances are they woke up that morning and knew it was there. It is our discomfort that makes the whole situation difficult. The person that has the hook knows it and has come to terms with it. Just as the person who stutters. It has become a part of their lives unless they sought professional help. Now the time has come for us to overcome our discomfort with certain situations and "grab life by the horns"! Thanks so much!
