About your unverbalized understanding, there is a Japanese expression ("ishindenshin" or "haragei") that that relates and is important to me. It means communication without or beyond words, or heart-to-heart communication yielding tacit or unverbalized understanding. This is perhaps the dearest form of communication, maybe transcending words. This is friendship. David
