I also was saddened to hear that clinicians would give up on you. I currently have a client that stutters, and I cannot imagine if I were to not have faith in him. His parents are also wonderful to work with and I feel like he has a great support system to grow up in. Your story puts everything into perspective and you realize what is important in life and what you can get through as long as you have friends.
