I'd think you would have to lend the hardware as part and parcel of the exhibit. I think this is the type of project that museums and galleries in the US love to show--innovative, interactive, and socially progressive. There was just an exibit in New York called the ACM Multimedia 2004, on the topic of "DIGITAL BOUNDARIES: MULTICULTURALISM, IDENTITY, AND AWARENESS." http://www.mm2004.org/acm_mm04_call4artexhibit.htm I'm sure there are more out there!
