I totally agree. I think that the use of them should be endless with big variety of "pictures". Even when the 'ah-ha' is there, it is still important to stabilize the real meaning of what you are trying to tell. Furthermore because methaphores are allways a wrong representation, the mean of many will hopefully represent the core of its aim.
