Your article opened a door for me and made me smile. Metaphors are such a common figure of speech that I never even considered the advantages of promoting their use in stuttering therapy. As a graduate student at Kean University, I am discovering that this area of specialization appears to demand that a creative side to be added to therapy sessions. The illustrations that were included in your presentation painted a more emotional, detailed picture than words would have been able to.
