I can't agree more about the inside that young children should be thought in a pleasant way what stuttering is, before they start fighting it. Most people wait far to long. Therapy would be far more easy when we could talk in a more neutral way about it without it being a real problem. Thanks for sharing your insights about talking with children who stutter early so they have time to learn a healthy perspective before they start adopting misinformation from the environment and from their own perceptions about it. They also have a chance to get comfortable with it and this can only help the early intervention process and reduce the tension that could only serve to strengthen an emerging stutter.
