As a graduate speech language pathology student, I found this article very interesting. A big concern of most speech language pathologists is keeping clients motivated in therapy. I think that metaphors can provide the children with a more concrete view of the therapy approaches that are being utilized which, in turn, will increase their motivation. Thank you for providing me with this wonderful tool.
