Hi Molly, thank you for your comments. A lot of SLPs have asked me the same question - how to make it ok for a child to speak up? I think if I did have a therapist at the time (which I didn't), who is in a position of friendliness and trust, I would have said something. I certainly wanted to. Maybe the SLPs can do a session on bullying in general, then the child will know you understand and may choose to tell you about any personal experiences. Just a thought. Best, Gina
