Hi Brad, thank you for your understanding of what Chinese stutterers think. In my opinion, even if Chinese people want to be perfect (which I don't totally agree), if other disorders like hearing loss, blind, can be accepted and treated with less and less discrimination, then why cannot stutterers have no shame for stuttering? Maybe the reason is, Chinese people tend to regard this disorder as a bad habit or something caused by bad character, and so it stands for something interior. For blindness, etc, everyone knows it's not because of a habit or a character defect, and people will not discriminate the blind men. So, I think, to raise the awareness of the society to stuttering, and tell peole what is stutteing, and how to treat stuttering people, is most important to improve PWS life quality in China.
