<< when you were in a temporary 'cure' did you just notice that it took no effort to speak anymore or just that you noticed you weren't thinking about how to not stutter anymore >> It was more of a "little to no effort to speak fluently" sort of thing. I think that I'm conditioned to always be thinking about my speech, so I'm also constantly analyzing how things are coming out. That's what surprised me during my two events -- how smoothly the words were flowing, without the normal number of minor blocks (or without the need to use word substitution tricks).
