Hi Alan --- Thank you for this wonderful paper. I have a few questions about implementation. You mentioned that you vowed never to substitute again. Were you able to stop just like that? And if not, what did you do when you accidentally substituted a word? I'm trying very hard to give up my concealment tricks, but I often catch myself reverting back to my old (bad) habits of substituting easier-to-say words, changing sentences around, or choosing fluency over clarity. Sometimes I feel like it's so ingrained in me that it's impossible to stop doing it. (How's that for negative thinking?) How did you encourage yourself to try again and not just give up? Also, how long did it take you to erase all of your negative thoughts? I'm trying to think more positively, but sometimes if I have a particularly bad speech experience, or just a bad day, I find it extremely difficult to break out of the downward spiral of negative thought-dom. One negative thought leads to another, which leads to another and so on. Do you have any suggestions on how to break the chain? Thank you so much for your paper, and I am thrilled I finally had a chance to meet you in person. All the best, Sophie
