Hi Farrah, Thank you for your generous comments. It was kind of you to write in such a vein. I note that you have gained a "more real and wholesome" understanding of stuttering. Yes, John Harrison's hexagon concept made me realise that my communication problem involved far more than just my speech. You may wish to read a transcript of a speech that I gave to the British Stammering Association in 2001, entitled, "Stuttering is not just a speech problem". It relates the hexagon to my lifetime of stuttering, and the immense changes that have occurred within the past five years. You may access it by clicking on one of the following links: http://www.mnsu.edu/comdis/kuster/Infostuttering/badmington.pdf (Adobe Reader required), or, http://www.stammer.demon.co.uk/conf2001_alanbadmington/ Thank you, again, for your interest. Kindest regards Alan PS Are you a PWS or involved with speech-language pathology?
