Thank you for your observations. Really, when my stutter was yet under control i had various types of help. i was made to drink kinds of mixture of herbs. This yielded no help. Some time my mother will think that by shouting at me will be a solution. Back in school in a country like cameroon where stuttering is not yet known as a problem especially non stutterers their approach as regards help can not be appropriete. My teacher never use to ask me and some others questions in class because It would cause disorder in class and even take much of is scheduled time. The time we can come to the conclusion that the help is done by the wrong person and at the wrong time is when it is done by someone who has got no knowledge about helping children with stammering. They will not know where to begin and where to end. In short there will be no vision and no target. I hope you may be able to understand this. Thanks steff.
