Thanks for writing. I'm glad you enjoyed. Yes, I think the Tx goals when I was a child should have been focused more on communication and less on fluency. Of course, hindsight is 50/50. Or 60/40. Or maybe it's 70/30. Whatever the case, it's easy to sit back now and judge what was 'right' or 'wrong.' The truth is, I think it would have been better if I had been willing to accept that I stuttered. That would have made me more willing to discuss my stuttering with my family...instead of stuttering being a scary "taboo" subject. Again, thanks for writing.
