Regarding whether or not stuttering made a difference in my appearance, the answer is "yes." I would often walk around wearing a Halloween mask or, at the very least, vampire teeth. Only kidding. No, stuttering never affected my appearance. No long hair, no baseball caps...I hid my stuttering by changing words around constantly, avoiding, and basically saying everything EXCEPT what I really wanted to say. Thank you for your comments. -rb
