Rob, Wow! What a fantastic story. It's mine! And it's so many others of us who have experience what you described so perfectly -- the journey of contstant fear and anxiety of being "caught"! And a journey, best described probably as one big "ulcer" as you referenced. I'm so glad you've reached the crossroad to begin to turn back into the wind and face it head-on. It's not easy, as you so well described, but it does get easier... An honest life lived by who we really are -- that's the ultime goal, I think of a covert stutterer. Thanks again for a beautiful paper and for being a model to many to see that there's hope to turn and face the beast and survive with hope and dignity. Great job, Chris
