Kristin, Thanks for writing. To answer your question: was there something in particular that finally helped me realize I shouldn't hide? Oh no. It was many, many, many different things. Some big things, some little things, some in between. And I don't want anyone to get the impression that it happened overnight. I'm still struggling with this (some days are better than others). But I think that it was helpful when I realized that stuttering is a part of who I am. - rb
