As an aspiring student hoping to become an SLP, I will take your experience with me, and NEVER tell a child s/he will "grow out of it". Thank you for such an inspiring article. How courageous you truly are! I do have one question about your therapy: Did you learn the desensitization technique in a previous treatment session or did you just decide to try it on your own?
