It is awesome that you decided to open up and advertise that you stutter! I was wondering what goals were targeted in your speech therapy? Why do you think that therapy didn't help you? Do you have any advice for me, as a graduate student clinician, to implement in therpy when working with people who stutter? Also, did you think about hiding your stuttering and the fact that you stuttered every minute of every day? I would think it would take so much effort to always be scanning ahead on what you want to say and what words you should use so that you wouldn't stutter. This must have been very overwhelming for you. When you scanned ahead thinking of what to say did you find that it slowed you down or made you say something that meant something totally different than what you intended to say. How do you react when a listener gives you a negative reaction? Lastly, what is the number one piece of advice you would give to a person who is talking to someone who stutters?
