I think it is great that you have come to this point in your life where you can accept that you stutter, especially after going through so many negative experiences with other people. I don't stutter, but I don't know if I could do it. I mean, if something unappealing happened in my life, such as being told a circus clown would be a good profession for me, I don't know if I would be able to face my fears and just stutter. I never even want to repeat any remotely negative experiences. That takes a lot of courage! Very impressive. As I was reading over other comments/questions, I read one of your responses that incorporated one of my current instructors, Charlie Osborne. It is comforting knowing that someone who helped you, one of the few people, is teaching others. Hopefully some of us can be as successful in our future experiences. I think stories like yours put into perspective for those of us who don't stutter, the real feelings and emotions one can have because of it. I admire you for going through all you have been through and still coming out on top.
