I haven't yet attended NSA meetings, but I'm looking into doing that. The thing that I've done that's similar is joined a lot of online stuttering groups, and I've talked on the phone with a lot of people who stutter that I've met through online groups. I think that having a person who stutters talk to a clutterer is very beneficial for both of them. The pace of a person who stutters will typically slow down the clutterer, and give some rhythm to the conversation, and the carefree attitude of the clutterer and the clutterer's lack of focus on the conversation will help the person who stutters to feel more comfortable talking. I also think that clutterer's support needs would be different than people who stutter. Most people who stutter that I've talked to are very frustrated that they can't say what they want to say. Most clutterers that I've talked to are frustrated with other's inability to understand them. So, I think that support groups would be more immediately valuable to people who stutter, because they are typically more cognizant that they have a problem than clutterers are.
