Hi Benny. I'm really glad that you enjoyed the article on cluttering. I think that what is most common is that people who stutter are also clutterers. David Daly says that 40% of fluency clients are pure stutterers, 40% are stutterer/clutterers, and only 5% are pure clutterers. Like I said in my article, I think that cluttering is more prevalent than stuttering, but that I think that the number of clutterers who seek treatment is very small. So, I would guess that about half of the people in Stuttering Associations have some kind of cluttering component. The best way to tell if you're a stuttering/cluttering hybrid is "circumlocution" versus "revision." All PWS use or have used avoidance behaviors, like circumlocution. But, if you're using those same speech patterns when you're not using avoidance behavior, you may be a stuttering/cluttering hybrid. Hope this helps. Joseph
