HI! In public speaking terms (& relatively new), chunking thoughts came from phrasing. The great orators were said to chunk phrasing in to 7 words +/- 3. However, new thought is that they chunk in thought phrases. THESE really do become short to be effective and so that the speaker can pause, stretch a word, punch a word with feeling but in 'thoughts' not word counts. If you say several sentences with feeling and a caring to have your message received, you'll discover! that you've done just this. Make sense ....maybe? Hard to type it; better to speak it. janet
