I also have not read a lot of research on cluttering. Through my fluency classes, we focus mainly on stuttering, so reading about an actual case of cluttering was fascinating. It was a good idea to put background information on cluttering in your paper so that it could be understood by all. I agreed with your statement that few therapists have worked with people who clutter. Most of the professionals that I have worked with have seen 2-3 cases (at most) of cluttering in their entire careers. I was taken back when I read in the beginning of your paper that you did not realize that you had a problem with your speech until the age of 26! I understand that a part of cluttering is not hearing it yourself, but I was surprised that the people around you never brought it to your attention. This must have been part of the reason that you were so shocked when you heard your speech recorded for the first time. Thanks for the insight!
