do you think that you subconsciously knew you had speech dysfluencies but didn't want to accept it, and as a result let it continue until it was pointed out to you at age 26? Although I myself do not have any difficulty with cluttering, it seems that this would be a rather obvious "problem" and that you might have gotten help sooner.
