Hi A. Landry, thanks for the question. The thing that I think is interesting about me is that I've got a burning desire to improve my speech. I think that this is different than most clutterers, because I think most clutterers don't really want to think about their speech. I think that if I were misdiagnosed, then I would have had a lot of therapies that didn't work and didn't do anything, and I would have grown resentful of speech and learning speaking techniques, rather than fascinated by them. I think that if I were resentful at people who wanted me to change my speech, but who didn't really understand, then I would have further moved myself away from being aware at all about my speech, which would have made my speech worse. So, the solution is for speech pathologists to learn more about cluttering, and when that happens, then more research will be done, and more effective techniques for treating cluttering will be developed, and then children will be diagnosed better and will have better therapies that are more helpful, and children will be able to deal with cluttering in a very positive helpful way. Even though it didn't happen for me, giving the gift of communication to someone at an early age is one of the most valuable gifts that you can give. And, I really believe that it can happen to youngsters in the future. Thanks, Joseph
