Hi Bridget, I'm not sure I understand your question. First, the population in Cameroon is not inbred. They do have polygamous marriages, but they do not marry their relatives. This occurs in Pakistan. One way we know that genetic factors are involved in stuttering is that PWS have an increased likelihood that their family members will also stutter. These family members share some of their DNA, but not all of it, except in the case of identical twins.
