I found your article really interesting. I have just recently started learning about suttering and am quite interested by it. I do have a few questions. Your research points to the fact that stuttering is genetic. Would that incur that people with this specific gene are predisposed to stutter sometime during their lifetime or guaranteed to stutter? Also, do people who stutter within the same family exude similar core behaviors and secondary behaviors or are they different? Are there any noticeable similarities which would point to the possibility that some of the core behaviors are learned from other members of the family as opposed to inate/genetic?
