I find this paper interesting because I am the only person in my extended family who stutters. I don’t think my own stutter is genetic, although I can see how others’ stutters could be. I think it could be caused by either internal or external forces. I was unaware that large families could have such high degrees of stuttering. -Ty Gangelhoff, Grand Marais, MN
