Hi Juliane; I'm not sure to whom did you pose this question, but I felt the need to share with you what I know. I have read several times that the center for singing lies in one half of the brain, whereas the speech centre lies in the other, so they don't have much in common (unfortunately!). // There is a therapy that involves singing (can't think of its name now!) and was invented by an opera-singing lady, that can help with breathing control, but can't do much about overall problem of stuttering.
