I am a student at Western Washington University and I am currently finishing my undergrad degree in CSD, and I am currently enrolled in a stuttering course. I am working on a paper about the perceptions of famous people who stutter. I was wondering if a few individuals could give me some more insight above and beyond all of the great stories that are posted. I am curious about how you feel that people who stutter are portrayed in the media? I also am curious about what misconceptions you think are incorporated in these portrayls? As a person who is famous and stutters do you feel that your stuttering is portrayed in a different light than you actually feel about your stuttering? I apologize if any of these questions seem rude to anyone. I am just very interested in how you feel about the way stuttering is portrayed. Thank you very much for all of your time and input.
