Russ, Thank you for using the matrix graphs to clearly illustrate an idea that really makes a lot of sense! I'm an SLP graduate student studying fluency disorders. I'm writing a paper right now about stuttering support groups. I want one of the sections in the paper to describe features like group activities, qualities and types of leadership that might distinguish a super effective support group from one that is not as helpful. Do you have any personal thoughts on that subject? Or could you point me in the direction of a good resource that would help me? Anybody else out there reading this who cares to respond is welcome to. Thank you. P.S. Russ, my mom was in Toastmasters, too. Even though she is not a chronic stutter, she says that her experience in that organization helped her overcome a lot of public speaking anxiety.
