Jonelle, The acronym CALMS stands for Cognitive, Affective, Linguistic, Motor & Social components of stuttering. I really like applying this to all age levels though I think the thematic approach is very effective with the adolescent & young adult who made need the structure. Thanks, Elise Kaufman
