Hi Nathan, beautiful that you chose this thrilling topic! I think, that is an important perspective in the stuttering-therapy. I take since 33 months olanzapine. The frequency of the stuttering reduced clearly. The blocks are less tensely. But the effects are not stable. It gives good and bad days. I took about 30 months from 2,5mg once at the evening. My experience is, that if I end the medication for few days there is not any dramatic change. On the contrary: a short-term interrupt to the medication that seems to stabilize the speaking-liquid on a good level. From this basis I take now since 3 months every second day from 2,5mg olanzapine. My questions are: Did participants of the multicenterstudy continue the medication? How are the long-term results? Why is there not much molecular-biological and pharmacologic investigation to the stuttering? Why Eli Lilly or Janssen Cilag do not initiate any Phase I or II trials with SDA īs? best regards from Germany Holger holger-stenzel@t-online.de
