Hello Julie, I am not sure if the SDAs would be helpful. Acquired stuttering is substantially different from developmental stuttering, in that they have different causes, different dysfluency, and drastically different prevalence. Acquired stuttering is quite rare when compared to developmental stuttering. It would be extremely difficult to generate a valid study evaluating the efficacy of the SDAs in acquired stuttering, as there would be many variables in the cohort to begin with.
