Hello Marija and Miodrag- Sports, or something you really enjoy and are reasonably good at can serve as a wonderful release and a source of lessons (such as persistence) that impact so many other aspects of life. We've found in a recent study that one of the factors that help to explain successful stuttering management are the positive achievements in one's life and that these experiences often provide counter-themes to the dominant theme brought about by stuttering. Sports or simply consistent exercies in nearly any form can be wonderfully therapeutic in many ways. Of course as Marija said, sports also get you out of the house so you can meet and communicate with other like-minded people
