I have just read Diane Seidel's story and have posed the same question to her. I am an SlP and have always believed stuttering to have a physical cause- some kind of neurological or brain disorder- until I had read your stories. Has anyone ever suggested to you that perhaps the excessive stress you were under may have indeed caused a hard-to detect physical problem that would have caused the stuttering? Thank you
